Lastly, the Motivator does not stand on its own. This was an issue I’ve had with some other bags, especially Aer backpacks, and it’s not as bad on the GULU Made as it is on on Aer bags. E.g., sometimes I’m zipping up the main compartment but the zipper pull of the admin compartment will get in the way. Essentially, the zipper pulls are longer than the distance between the zipper tracks of the other compartment. One minor nuisance I’ve had with the bag is the zipper pulls getting in the way of the zippers on the main compartment and admin compartment.

It’s not loud or attention-grabbing in any way, which makes it suitable for pretty much any environment, including a professional business setting. The Motivator has a very classic backpack look and shape. One is gray with tan leather components (the logos, zipper pulls, and grab handle) and the other is black with tan leather. There are leather tabs on the left shoulder strap and in the middle of the front panel with the company’s logo, but those are also black so it’s very subtle. The Motivator that I have is all black and I really like that minimal look. I never feel like it’s hard to get to the bottom of the bag or find something.

The laptop sleeve is a standard half-zip (though it’s actually a little more than half way), the main compartment’s zip goes two-thirds of the way down, and the admin compartment is a full front panel-opening compartment. The key difference is that Motivator has one additional compartment where your admin pockets are, while the Influencer (20L) has those small organizational pockets integrated in the main compartment.
